ABOUT THE COMPANY
Tailored care plans designed to empower your journey, enhance home life, focus on your wellbeing.
The Autism Guide was born from my personal journey as an autism parent, navigating a system with little support and countless unanswered questions. We created it to be the resource we wish we had—offering real guidance, emotional support, and a path forward for families. Parent support like this didn’t exist before—now, it does.

Meet Our Founder - I’ve been there too.
Every parent recalls the life-changing moment when their child is diagnosed. My own experience ignited my passion and the need to support caregiver from the very beginning of their journey.
With 14 years of experience in technical support, I transitioned into my new career as a Certified Integrative Wellness & Life Coach, specializing in the neurodivergent community. This transformation has not only improved my own health, happiness, and home life but also inspired me to help new parents feel supported as their Parent Mentor & Support Specialist. I’m deeply committed to empowering our community.
As part of my dream career, I curate caregiver wellness experiences for the community and Parent Support Programs for the San Diego Regional Center & The Shine Project Foundation. Previously, I proudly served as Parent Outreach Coordinator for NFAR’s Parent Group.

An Evening with Dr. Temple Grandin
Presented by Library Foundation SD
A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
“As a parent raising an autistic child, meeting and learning from Dr. Temple Grandin has been a highlight of my journey. She signed a book for my son Cameron, and we connected over him being nonspeaking and the progress he's making with spelling on letterboards. Thanks to the Library Foundation San Diego, she shared a presentation on her newest book, Different Kinds Of Minds, sensory sensitivities and how different kinds of minds are suited for different career paths. Learning from an autistic perspective is incredibly profound for a parent like me.” Monique Haithcock
